Still, if he enters politics (again), I will also be dismayed. One could not be the People's Champ and be a politician at the same time - those two are contradictory. If he's retiring from boxing then he just might have a chance to be a politician but I think that even with a change of address, people will still stop him from being a politician by not voting him. If the people of Saranggani are as wise as the people of GenSan, they will not let Manny win the fight for a politician's seat but will always cheer him on any fight - with gloves on, in any arena.
