Pacquiao was fast and furious.
Truly the World’s no.1 Pound for Pound Boxer!
Just what metformin hydrochloride 500 mg pill I expected!
I told my dad and my sis a week ago that I’m foreseeing Pacquiao knocking out Hatton in the 2nd round. And it came true! If it is not a lucky guess then it’s my own confidence in Manny!
When interviewed by Mario Lopez, Bob Arum claimed that Manny is the greatest fighter that ever lived! Not the greatest fighter of the year but the greatest fighter that ever lived.
I believe after coming off victorious over Oscar dela Hoya, Pacquiao was too much ready for Hatton. However, Hatton’s was not ready for Manny’s power right and left punches.
Hatton stood no chance against Pacquiao whose punches landed non-stop. After one final blow, referee Kenny Bayless declared the fight over at 2:59 of Round 2.
“I was just doing my job,” said Manny Pacquiao, who announced yesterday of his interest in running for Congress in 2010 in an interview made by CNN. “I always try to do my best in the ring.”
“The fight was no surprise to me,” Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, said. “We know he always pumps his hands before he throws a punch. He’s a sucker for the right hook.”
It took Hatton several minutes to get up after the doctors tended to him.
Manny landed 73 of his 127 punches within 2:59 minutes while Ricky only connected 18 of his 78 punches. That’s according to ringside stats.
“It was a hard loss but I’m OK,” Hatton commented. “I really didn’t see the punch coming but it was a great shot. I know I’ll be OK.”
“That’s boxing,” concluded Floyd Mayweather Sr., Hatton’s overconfident trainer.
p.s. to Mr. Mayweather Sr.: Eat your heart out! LMAO Tic-Tac-Toe…Hitman hits the floor….you better stay down, if you want to be around!

And that Concludes the War of the Worlds!
Go Pacquiao!
While I do love the fact that Pacquiao won, and I am all for him when he boxes and raises the morale of all Filipinos, I just wish he would just lay off politics.
When he starts making plans to run for ANY position, I wish I had his killer punches to stop him in his tracks and knock some sense into him. =/
@Lurchie: True. He had a tough time last election and I think he was just used by many politicians. I still do hope he’d back out from politics. He could also be of help naman to his kababayans in General Santos without him vying for a seat in congress. :-S
Correction: Manny is not a resident of GenSan . He’s now residing in Saranggani Province.
He will be facing one of the Chiongbians in Saranggani in the upcoming 2010 elections. I heard this Congressman Chiongbian is just as popular and as tough as Congresswoman Darlene Antonino. We all know Manny didn’t get a chance to knock out Antonino in the last elections. I saw his interview in CNN the day before he fought Hatton and he confirmed that he is running for congress. I do hope he changes his mind or I’ll be dismayed (again!).
I love the fight and was among the first to jump and cheer him on. Still, if he enters politics (again), I will also be dismayed. One could not be the People’s Champ and be a politician at the same time – those two are contradictory.
If he’s retiring from boxing then he just might have a chance to be a politician but I think that even with a change of address, people will still stop him from being a politician by not voting him. If the people of Saranggani are as wise as the people of GenSan, they will not let Manny win the fight for a politician’s seat but will always cheer him on any fight – with gloves on, in any arena.
wow.. great post complete with a sequence of photos. I felt like I read a sports section report of an online newspaper
Look forward to the showdown with loudmouth Mayweather, Jr. !
